Fixed the game getting stuck on an older version. It now checks for new releases automatically — on a timer and whenever you return to the tab — so the "a new version is available" prompt actually appears. There's also a check for updates link on the start menu (next to the version number) to force the very latest build on the spot.
18 June 2026 v0.7.14
Even faster first load — more of the heavier screens (player profiles, the season review, the draft room, the after-match charts) now load only when you open them, trimming another chunk off the initial download.
Corrected the recovery instructions on the rare error screen — your backup code now points at the right place (the ☰ menu → Save & backup).
18 June 2026 v0.7.13
Faster first load — the heavier secondary screens (the transfer market, the Club hub, the online league) now load on demand instead of up front, so the game opens quicker, especially on mobile.
18 June 2026 v0.7.12
Transfer Deadline Day ⏳ — the transfer market now flags deadline day when the window is about to shut: a clear "last chance to buy or sell" banner on the final open matchweek, so you don't miss the cut-off.
18 June 2026 v0.7.11
Share your CV 📺 — a new Share button on your Managerial CV exports your legacy as an authentic Ceefax/teletext card (P100, blocky masthead, the lot) — save it or share it. Show off the trophies.
18 June 2026 v0.7.10
Managerial CV / Hall of Fame ⭐ — your career no longer vanishes when you start a new one. Every career you finish is now banked in a permanent Hall of Fame (Club ▸ Records): the clubs you managed, your titles, cups, promotions and seasons, with a 👑 on any career that won the top flight — plus lifetime totals across them all. A reason to keep building a legacy.
18 June 2026 v0.7.9
Fixed: the Ceefax results page (P302) now has an always-visible ✕ close button at the top, and your device's back button closes it cleanly — previously the only close was buried below the table, so reaching for back could bump you out to the menu.
17 June 2026 v0.7.8
Tidier Club menu in a career — the Club tab now stays focused on running your club: Save & backup moved up to the universal ☰ menu (reachable from anywhere), and the Challenges & Compete tabs — which start a different mode and replace your career run — are no longer shown mid-career (start them from the main menu instead). "Your club" settings stay under Club ▸ Settings.
17 June 2026 v0.7.7
Fixed: on a phone, watching a match now shows the text commentary as intended — the live player-ratings panel was opening on top of it and the feed kept snapping back to the bottom. Ratings now start collapsed on mobile (tap to expand), and the commentary only auto-scrolls when you're already at the latest, so you can scroll up to re-read without it yanking you back.
17 June 2026 v0.7.6
Ceefax results page 📺 — a teletext-style results & table screen, straight out of the Saturday-3pm vidiprinter era. Tap P302 on your league table for the full retro round-up: the latest matchweek's results and the live division table in glorious blocky VT323, with the classic teletext colours. Pure nostalgia.
17 June 2026 v0.7.5
Custom Challenge leaderboards ⭐ — every bespoke challenge now has its own global leaderboard. Share a challenge code with friends and you all compete on one board, ranked by your result (★★★ > ★★ > ★, then lives finished with, then how far you climbed). The standings show after you finish a run and live in the Custom Challenge panel while you're playing one.
17 June 2026 v0.7.4
Build your own challenge ⭐ — a new Custom Challenge creator under Club ▸ Challenges. Set the squad cost band, formation, lives, bankroll, starting division, an optional era lock (90s/00s/10s/Modern) and your own objective, then play it — graded ★–★★★ on how many lives you finish with. Every build packs into a short shareable code or link, so a friend gets the exact same challenge. Your creations are saved to a personal library to replay or re-share.
17 June 2026 v0.7.3
Online leagues advance themselves — when a matchweek's deadline passes, an open league now rolls over to the next week on its own (any no-shows are simulated, as before), so play keeps moving without someone having to tap "advance". You'll see it announced before it happens, and you can still advance instantly yourself. There's a toggle when you create a league to turn it off if you'd rather drive every matchweek by hand. End-of-season promotion and relegation still stays a deliberate tap.
16 June 2026 v0.7.2
Club legends get a send-off — when a long-serving player finally leaves your club after years of loyal service, the inbox now marks the moment with a testimonial tribute, instead of letting a one-club great slip out unremarked.
Career milestones in the trophy cabinet — nine new achievements track your manager's journey: your first promotion, a league title, reaching the Premier League, winning it, back-to-back promotions, the climb from non-league to the top, a league-and-cup double, a comeback from relegation, and managing multiple clubs.
Seed challenges ⭐ — share the exact start of an Endless run with a friend (a short code or a link): you both get the identical opening shop, opponents and events, so it's a fair race to see who climbs further. Find it under Club ▸ Compete.
Era challenges — two new scenarios under Club ▸ Challenges: 90s Legends and Noughties XI task you with climbing the whole pyramid using only players who peaked in that decade. A pure retro throwback.
Seed-challenge leaderboards — every shared Endless start now has its own leaderboard: finish a run and your score is posted for that exact start, so you and your friends can see who climbed furthest. Shown live under Club ▸ Compete.
Online league is now a real career — play your own matches. Each matchweek you kick off your fixture against a rival's submitted squad (or an AI club) and the result you achieve counts in the shared table. Pick a force-continue timeout when you create the league (1 hour to 3 days) and anyone who doesn't play in time is auto-resolved, so the league never stalls. Climb the pyramid by actually playing.
Fixed: the Online league no longer rolls seasons over silently on its own — advancing is now an explicit tap.
Fixed: career squads (which include your home-grown and journeyman players) now join an Online league correctly — previously those squads could be silently rejected, leaving you out of the table.
Fixed: an Online match no longer shows career-only "out for N rounds · Manage Squad" team news at full-time — online and friendly results are one-off and don't affect your career run.
15 June 2026 v0.6.1
Online leagues (beta) ⭐ — a new Online league on the main menu: create a private league, share the code, and compete with friends in a shared division pyramid. Every season is simulated fairly from each manager's submitted squad (with AI clubs filling out the division); finish in the top places to win promotion, climb the tiers, and get your name on the honour roll. Seasons tick over on a schedule (or advance them yourself), your online squad mirrors your own (aging) career team, and you can watch any match on the pitch as a friendly. (Early version — live head-to-head is coming.)
Always up to date — when a new version ships, the game now offers a one-tap Reload so you're never stuck on an old build. Your saved career carries across updates automatically.
This page — a public Updates & Roadmap, so you can see what's new and what's coming.
Updates in the menu — open this page anytime from the in-game ☰ menu, on any screen.
Version number — the game now shows its version in-app.
Fixed: when your squad is full, the transfer market now tells you why a signing is blocked instead of the button doing nothing — it was easy to miss on a phone.
Fixed: releasing a player now works correctly when "always-open transfers" is turned on.
Clearer squad: the market now flags your "reserves" (squad players not in your XI), so a full squad with an empty bench makes sense — and points you to Release to free a slot.
Fixed: if a signing's wages don't fit your budget, the negotiation now stays open and tells you — instead of closing as if the deal went through.
Online league is now its own full-screen screen, reachable from the main menu and the in-game ☰ menu — with a notification dot when your season is ready to advance.
Wages, made clear: the transfer negotiation now shows your wage bill vs budget up front and explains when a signing is blocked by your wage limit (not your transfer cash) — and important notices no longer hide off the top of the screen.
Fixed: in-match player ratings now stay in position order (keeper first) instead of jumping around as the ratings change.
Fixed: dragging a sub onto the pitch now works reliably on phones (press and hold, then drag).
Auto-Pick now fields your highest-rated players to match their ratings — chemistry only breaks ties between equal-rated players.
Smoother navigation: closing the Online screen returns you to where you opened it.
14 June 2026 v0.5.0
Optional transfer windows — a new career-setup toggle lets you buy & sell anytime.
Squad sort & filter — order your squad by overall, form, fitness, age or contract, and filter by position.
Transfer-bid alerts — incoming bids and board decisions now flag loudly on the home screen.
Name your club — every career now starts by naming your team (no more "Your XI").
Mobile match commentary — matches on phones now lead with live text commentary.
Tactics clarity — dragging a player highlights where he can legally play; bench shows who's suspended/injured.
Save explained — your progress autosaves; the backup/transfer code is now clearly signposted.
End-of-season review — final standings, top scorer & assists, and your Player of the Season.
Career history — player profiles now show season-by-season stats.
Fixed: elite strikers now lead the scoring charts as they should.
Fixed: draft board sorting, plus a "Fill remaining" button so you're never stuck.
Highlights reel — your goals replayed on the pitch at full-time.
Guided tour — a first-career walkthrough of every screen.
Market search & filters — find any player, including the bargains and the long tail.
Squad page rethink — tap any player anywhere for his profile; mobile Formation/Squad toggle.
Player profiles, "why you lost" analysis, shot maps, squad depth chart, triaged inbox.
Living world — narrative seasons, rivalries and "where are they now" world news.

🎩 On the deeper roadmap
Balance- and feel-critical features — carefully tuned before release.
Living conversations ⭐ — real, free-text dialogue with the press (pre- and post-match), your board, and your players: face the cameras, answer to the owners, and manage the dressing room in conversations that actually respond to what you say — and ripple into morale and confidence.
European cups & the FA Cup ⭐ — qualify for the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League off your league finish, plus an FA Cup that spans the whole pyramid (giant-killing across divisions). With prize money — carefully balanced so the riches don't trivialise the climb.
Live head-to-head online ⭐ — the async friends league has shipped (play your own matches each matchweek, at your own pace). Still to come: playing a match live when you're both online, making real-time decisions that change the result.
A bigger, global squad ⭐ — many more real players from leagues and eras around the world, well beyond the current cast — carefully balanced so a deeper pool keeps the game fair before it ships.
